Like Taking a Deep Breath of Fresh Air

While watching TV the other night I noticed a lawyer-sponsored ad mentioning a possible link between pregnant women taking anti depressants and child birth defects. That got me thinking. Many of these women, had they known about Dianetics, would have probably never even gotten near an anti-depressant.  So, I figure that if I can get the message out, then more and more people will be aware of Dianetics and will be able to see what it can do for them. so they don’t have to turn to drugs.

In the next few days, I will be posting some success stories regarding normal people’s experience with Dianetics. This is people like you and me, with their day-to-day life and experiences. See what they have to say, and feel free to post your comments and share your experience with Dianetics. And if you want to ask a question, go ahead. If I know the answer, I will tell you, or I will research where you can find the answer. And kindly phrase your questions in a civilized matter: religion is a sensitive matter and it can flare up tempers, but there is no need for that. Just ask plainly.

Here is today’s success from someone receiving Dianetics auditing at the Dianetics Foundation in Washington, DC :

“I keep finding that there are more emotions tied up in memories that I always thought of as simply events in my life with no further significance. It’s surprising and quite a relief to uncover and clear these experiences so I can remember them and remove their negative effects on my life. It’s like taking a deep breath of fresh air and the breath gets deeper and the air gets a little fresher with each experience.” – S.H.

Dianetics 60th Anniversary Being Celebrated in Churches of Scientology Around the World

image Churches of Scientology around the world celebrate the original release of the religion’s first book this weekend.  Published May 9, 1950, Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health became an overnight success and has been a continuing bestseller for 60 years.  The work is the anatomy and full description of a portion of the mind that is the source of nightmares, unreasonable fears, upsets and insecurities.  More than 20 million copies have been sold.

Based on author L. Ron Hubbard’s researches into the mind and human behavior prior to 1950, its release brought on the spontaneous formation of 750 Dianetics groups around the U.S. and establishment of the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  Mr. Hubbard lectured, instructed and otherwise met a staggering demand, while continuing research into the fundamental nature of man culminating in the founding of the Scientology religion in 1952.

Today, Dianetics remains a key substudy of the greater body of Scientology Scripture, its perennial popularity sustained by its workability.  Before Dianetics, prevailing scientific thought held that Man’s mind was his brain, nothing more than a collection of cells and neurons, and IQ and personality were considered fixed and unchanging. With Dianetics, IQ and personality improved, its effectiveness documented in a multitude of case histories over more than half a century of application.

In 2009, Mr. David Miscavige, Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center, announced the completion of translation in 50 languages of Dianetics and seven other basic Scientology books.  Mr. Miscavige also released 32 new films of visual instruction in Dianetics procedures on DVD, part of a special Hubbard Dianetics Seminar now offered at Churches of Scientology, which include turnabout application of Dianetics procedure.

Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health is published by Bridge Publications and is available in 125,000 libraries in over 180 countries as well as public bookstores and Churches of Scientology.  Dianetics Anniversary celebrations are open to the public.

Studying the Dianetics & Scientology Basics in Sequence!

image

Now that L. Ron Hubbard’s Advanced Clinical Course lectures are completed and available (announced by Mr. David Miscavige just a few days ago), I am starting a full chronological study of Dianetics and Scientology from the beginning through to the very end.

It’s going to be an utter adventure!  I started last week, studying in the courseroom of the new Founding Church of Scientology in Washington, DC.  I’ll give you more updates as I wend my way through them!

Dianetics: A Simple Solution for “PTSD”

image I just read this article on CNN.com about a soldier fighting their way though life now, after coming back from Iraq duty and being haunted by near-death incidents and other points of emotional stress that she faced while deployed in combat.

Post-traumatic stress is indeed a problem with soldiers, and indeed with anybody who’s been subjected to any amount of stress or intense emotional or physical pain in life.   However, the CNN article on post-traumatic stress, as well as many others I’ve seen on the subject, including some from Time Magazine, unfortunately sidestep the fact that a complete solution for the symptoms and results of stress has been completely researched and made available for over 59 years.

It’s called Dianetics

While drug companies would like you to believe that there is a “disorder” called “PTSD” which is “still being researched” and that “therapy is still being developed” and that a hefty dose of Celexa, Lexapro, Luvox, Paxil, Prozac, Zoloft, Adapin, Anafranil, Aventyl, Elavil, Ludiomil, Morapramin, Pamelor, Sinequan, Surmontil, Tofranil, Vivacitil or Suckyourbrainoutatil would be just the thing to address your “PTSD”, the truth is that none of these drugs are an actual handling for WHY people continue to feel an adverse reaction to stress and trauma.

It’s much like if someone has just gotten into a major car accident, and their car is now nearly destroyed, giving a person drugs for stress is much like then putting a blindfold on a person so they can’t see that their car is wrecked.  It doesn’t handle the car wreck, nor do anything else useful at all besides numb the senses.

The way Dianetics is effective in dealing with situations such as this is explained here:

The traumatised soldier in the CNN article mentioned above is planning to go to school for 4 years to become a therapist in hopes that she’ll be able to help other people with their stress.

However, in a matter of an afternoon, she can be trained in Dianetics techniques which will permanently eradicate the effects of such stress and leave the person alert, and ready to carry out their life with sanity and happiness.

New Dianetics Seminars All Over the USA

imageI’m seeing more and more of the new Dianetics Seminars popping up all over the world on blogs & websites, now that David Miscavige has released the new Dianetics Seminars and new Dianetics DVD instruction films.

The ScientologyToday article gives an idea of how the Dianetics Seminars work:

The seminar, held in English and Spanish, followed on the heels of last month’s release of How to Use Dianetics—a state of the art, step-by-step, visual guide to L. Ron Hubbard’s legendary self-help bestseller.

Dianetics, which comes from the Greek words dia, meaning through and nous, soul, means, “what the soul is doing to the body through the mind.” Dianetics enables the individual to get rid of, irrational fears, unwanted sensations and emotions.

How to Use Dianetics consists of 18 short films, which illustrates specific Dianetics principles and techniques. With these new films, people new to the subject can easily learn what to expect from a Dianetics session and how to help another using this technology.

Following the presentation of the first of these films, an excerpt of which is available online at www.dianetics.org or www.scientology.org, those attending the Dianetics seminar were paired up immediately to use what they learned, to help someone else and receive help themselves. Supervised by trained Dianetics specialists, the seminar participants gained first-hand experience with just how easy it is to resolve difficulties that were holding them back from achieving their full potential.

If you go on the Scientology Church Locator, you can find roughly 600 other locations around the world that are delivering this seminar, like the Scientology Mission of Seattle for example.

Check it out!
